Julian Bunn
Julian Bunn is a Member of the Professional Staff at Caltech, where he works in
the Center for Advanced Computing Research.

Bio
Julian gained his B.Sc(Hons) in Physics from the University of Manchester in 1980,
and his Ph.D. in Experimental Particle Physics from the University of Sheffield
in 1983.
He held a staff Physicist position at CERN, the European Centre for Particle Physics,
for fifteen years before joining Caltech in 1997.
His research interests include high performance network and computing systems and
Grid architectures for solving the data distribution and analysis challenges posed
by CERN's Large Hadron Collider experiments.
Dr. Bunn is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics, a Chartered Physicist, and a member
of the IEEE and Audio Engineering Society.
