Jeff Eastman

Jeff is a long time contributor to the field of distributed computing software. As an architect at Hewlett-Packard he helped to develop their early CORBA products including the first Smalltalk ORB and various object services. As a staff contributor to the Object Data Management Group, he helped to draft object persistence standards that led to The Object Data Standard: ODMG 3.0 and the Java JDO. As the founding principal of Windward Solutions, he has helped clients bring innovative distributed computing products to market. Jeff's current passion is massively parallel distributed computing.
