Sophie Gamerman

Sophie Gamerman holds a PhD in computer science from U. Paris XI. She is a data base specialist. For more than 15 years, she has managed software development in different domains such as press, knowledge management or automotive technical information.

She was one of the founders of O2 Technology, the company that developed the O2 Object Database System O2, still the reference for OODB technology. She has been editor of the ODMG standard, in charge of OQL (the OODB query language) chapter.
