Mats Persson, VelocityDB

Mats has been architecting and coding database systems almost daily since April 1997. Initially at Objectivity Inc. as Senior Software Architect and now VelocityDB, a .NET object database management system. Mats holds two patents; One for a backup procedure and another for a C# binding handle wrapper which deals with interaction with unmanaged code and the garbag collector. Earlier, Mats worked in Sweden at Ericsson Telecom designing network management systems. Mats education includes a B.A. degree in Computer Sciences from University of Texas at Austin.
