Dr. Serge Shumilov received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of
Bonn in 2003.
Shumilov's research interests include distributed data management and middleware
infrastructures, sensor networks, semantic Web, workflow management systems, interoperability
of heterogeneous systems, query optimisation, and transaction processing. Dr. Shumilov
has also done consultancy work to the industry in these areas (Deutsche Telekom,
T-Mobile).
