Prof. Martin Hulin, University of Applied Sciences Weingarten, Germany. Dr. Martin Hulin is a professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Weingarten/Germany. There he offers lectures in Mathematics and Databases. Additionally he is responsible for e-learning at his university and advises his collegues in technical and educational aspects of distance learning. He himself has adapted his lecture ‘Modern Database Techniques’ to e-learning. Martin Hulin holds a diploma in Computer Science and received his Doctor (Dr. rer.-nat.) from Technische Universität München in 1992 for the theses: ‘Genetic Algorithms for circuit optimization’. From 1984 to 1992 he worked as development engineer at the central research department of the Siemens AG in Munich.
