Abstract
With a wide variety of big data applications, the past few years have witnessed an increasing number of data stores with novel design decisions that may sacrifice the correctness of an application’s operations to enhance performance. This paper presents our work-in-progress on a framework that generates a validation component. The input to the framework is the characteristics of an application. Its output is a validation module that plugs-in to either an application or a benchmark to measure the amount of unpredictable data produced by a data store.
