Jim Paterson
Jim Paterson is a Lecturer in the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Prior to 2005, he was a lecturer at Bell College. He held research positions at Strathclyde University, Cambridge University and at IBM’s Almaden Research Center in San Jose, and also worked as a software engineer with Leica Cambridge.
Jim received his BSc and Phd in Physics from Glasgow University.
He specialises in web development and object-oriented software and has particular interests in object persistence and pedagogical applications of new technologies.
