Dr. Haifeng Chen, NEC Laboratories America

Dr. Haifeng Chen is the senior research staff member at NEC Laboratories America in Princeton, New Jersey.
His research interests include big data management and mining, pattern recognition, complex system analytics, smart services and platforms. Haifeng has co-authored more than 60 conference/journal publications, and holds nine US patents.
He has served in the program committee for a number of top conferences such as SigKDD, IEEE Big Data, CIKM, CCGrid and so on. He has been serving in the Editorial Advisory Board for the Open Cybernetics & Systemic Journal.
He has been in the panel of NSF Computer & Information Science & Engineering (CISE) program.
Haifeng earned his PhD degree from Rutgers University, New Jersey in 2004.
