John McAuley, visualization manager at Novartis.
John has over 15 years experience in software and product development at both academic and industry level. He has consulted for many small to medium companies, building both enterprise and consumer-based products, and founded two startups in the areas of music technology and research management. In 2010 he completed a masters in communtiy analytics and in 2015 he completed a PhD in infromation visualsiation and social analytics. Currently, he is the visualsiation manager at Novartis where he focuses on how to develop visual and actionable interfaces for different Big Data projects.
