|Thank you to the Redis community for making RedisConf Takeaway a
huge success! With nearly 4,000 attendees from over 100 countries, we’re thrilled with the success of the first completely virtual RedisConf.
It was an exciting two days, with some major announcements to share.
In case you missed it, you can watch a replay of our keynotes,
or read the recap blog.
The top highlights include:Microsoft’s Julia Liuson joined Redis Labs
CEO Ofer Bengal to announce the availability of a private preview of
Redis Enterprise on Azure Cache for Redis.
Ofer shared more about our expanded partnership with Microsoft here.

We also announced the most secure Redis experience available: Redis Enterprise 6.0 with Redis 6.
New security capabilities include access control lists (ACLs), which allow you to create “users” and limit those users’ access to only specified commands and keys.
Extending ACLs, Redis Enterprise applies role-based access control
(RBAC) on the data path alongside the existing RBAC for the management path.
