RedisConf Takeaway
Thank you to the Redis community for making RedisConf Takeaway a huge success! With nearly 4,000 attendees from over 100 countries, we’re thrilled with the success of the first completely virtual RedisConf. It was an exciting two days, with some major announcements to share. In case you missed it, you can watch a replay of our keynotes, or read the recap blog. The top highlights include:Microsoft’s Julia Liuson joined Redis Labs CEO Ofer Bengal to announce the availability of a private preview of Redis Enterprise on Azure Cache for Redis. Ofer shared more about our expanded partnership with Microsoft here. Get insight into what our customers can expect from Redis Enterprise on Azure Cache, or sign up to get the preview. We also announced the most secure Redis experience available: Redis Enterprise 6.0 with Redis 6. New security capabilities include access control lists (ACLs), which allow you to create “users” and limit those users’ access to only specified commands and keys. Extending ACLs, Redis Enterprise applies role-based access control (RBAC) on the data path alongside the existing RBAC for the management path. Learn more about the enterprise grade security of Redis 6.0 here. Don’t worry if you missed any of the 50+ sessions, they’re still available on-demand for you. Check out our playlist of the Most Popular Sessions. The sessions you cannot miss include, a conversation with Atlassian CTO Sri Viswanath, and introductory sessions on the newest Redis modules, RedisGears and RedisAI.Finally, are you ready to rediscover all the features of Redis?
